Her gorgeous dress designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen combined tradition and modernity and beautiful hand-cut English lace and French Chantilly was used throughout the dress.

The eight -tiered royal wedding cake

The extraordinary eight-tiered wedding cake decorated with 900 sugar-paste flowers which included 17 symbolic blooms. Utterly wonderful! The project left cake-maker Fiona Cairns exhausted but elated after working for five weeks on it!
